Restoring the exterior fabric of a town centre shop front

This Princes Risborough shop front had suffered from several years of weathering and deferred maintenance. The timber window frames were showing severe paint delamination and substrate deterioration, the render finish had failed in places, and the rooflight required attention to prevent water ingress.

Renova Projects UK carried out a programme of targeted exterior fabric repairs — stripping back and re-treating the window frames, making good the render, resealing vulnerable joints, and completing the rooflight works — before applying a fresh decorative finish throughout.

The result was a building fabric returned to a sound, weather-tight condition and a shop front that presents well on the high street.
